Directory Methodology

This directory lists lawyers and law firms with a practice in Dubai and the wider UAE. It is maintained by Ahmad Abdulla Ahli Advocates & Legal Consultants alongside our own site content. This page explains, in plain terms, how a listing gets created and what it does and does not mean.

Where listings come from

Every listing starts from information that is already public: a law firm's own website, a bar or regulatory register, or coverage from established legal-industry publishers. When we cite a specific fact — a founding date, a title, a reported award, a bar admission — we link to the source directly on that profile so you can check it yourself.

We do not scrape or bulk-import large data sets. Each profile currently on this site was compiled individually, and we would rather list fewer profiles accurately than many profiles carelessly.

What "listed" means — and doesn't mean

Appearing in this directory is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a ranking. We do not operate a scoring system, a star rating, or a "best of" tier, and no firm — including our own — can pay for a better position or a listing here. Firms and lawyers are shown in a consistent, non-editorial order (alphabetical, or by relevance to the page you're viewing), never ranked by quality.

Where we could not independently confirm who a person is or which firm they currently practise with, the profile says so plainly and is marked Unverified rather than presented as fact. See our Verification Policy for what each status label means.

Keeping listings current

Legal careers change — lawyers move firms, firms merge, practice areas shift. We review listings periodically, and the date of the most recent review is shown on each profile. If you spot something out of date, use Suggest a Correction and we will look into it.

Adding or removing a listing

Any Dubai-based lawyer or law firm can ask to be listed using List a Lawyer or List a Law Firm. If you are the subject of an existing profile and want to manage it directly, you can claim it. We will also remove a listing on request from the person or firm it describes, subject to a brief verification step to confirm the request is genuine.
