Yes. UAE courts are effective at enforcing commercial debts, particularly where there is a written contract or acknowledgment of the obligation. We can also seek precautionary attachment orders to freeze assets while the case proceeds.

UAE courts can recognise and enforce foreign judgments under bilateral treaties and UAE Civil Procedure Code Article 235, subject to certain conditions. We have experience enforcing judgments from numerous jurisdictions in UAE courts.
If your contract contains an arbitration clause, you may be required to arbitrate first. Even without such a clause, arbitration can be faster and more confidential. We advise on the most effective route given your contract, counterparty, and commercial objectives.
