With more than 41 years of experience in UAE law, Dr Habib Al Mulla is best known for his work in arbitration, corporate and commercial law, litigation and employment matters — and for his role in shaping Dubai's financial-free-zone legislation, including the framework behind the DIFC.

He founded Habib Al Mulla and Partners in 1984, the same year he was admitted to practise in Dubai, and the firm has since grown into a full-service UAE legal practice spanning arbitration, banking and finance, construction, real estate, taxation, employment, family business, restructuring, white-collar crime and technology law.
