Sameera Kimatrai is an English law qualified Of Counsel in the Dubai office and a member of the firm’s Financial Regulatory Practice Group. She advises governments, regulators, and a broad spectrum of financial institutions on complex regulatory and compliance matters across both onshore UAE and the financial free zones.

Sameera’s practice encompasses advising investment managers, commercial and investment banks, payment service providers, and digital asset service providers on licensing, regulatory structuring, and ongoing compliance. She has particular depth of experience in FinTech and digital asset regulation across the Middle East and Africa, informed by her time as a senior regulatory lawyer within the legal department of a major digital assets exchange.
